After much consideration and discussion, the Academy Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Annual Meeting scheduled for March 24-28, 2020 at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center (OCCC).
The largest orthopaedic gathering in the nation, the AAOS Annual Meeting was set to host 479 presentations, 250,000 net square feet of exhibit space and 27,000 attendees from around the world. But, the ongoing spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) has been a serious concern for us all, and its implications have substantially affected the logistics of the meeting.
More details and information on our website and through our social media channels in the coming days.
Due to the continual spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Europe, the ESSKA leadership has taken the decision to postpone the ESSKA Congress until September 2020. This decision has been taken in order to prioritise the health and safety of all delegates, faculty and partners.
We are pleased to announce that the new dates for the Congress will be 1 September (Tuesday) – 4 September (Friday) 2020. We look forward to you joining us in September. The Congress website will be updated in the coming days to reflect the rescheduled dates.
If you are an existing registered delegate, have booked a hotel room from the official Congress accommodation service, are a faculty member, are a successful abstract submitter, or are an exhibitor/sponsor, we will be communicating with you directly in due course. There is no need to contact us; we will contact you.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
