Education
Scholarships and training courses are an important part of the BAAST educational program.
They are primarily intended for young surgeons with the aim of improving their skills through training at some of the best centers and under the guidance of the best European specialists. Some of the scholarships and programs are intended only for experienced surgeons.
BAAST sincerely appreciates the support of the sponsors for the scientific program, accommodation, and the host training centers for the scientific and social program of the trainees.

Bulgarian Traveling fellowship – arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery 2025
This program is a new project of the Bulgarian Association of Arthroscopic Surgery and Traumatology (BAAST) for training in the field of arthroscopic surgery and sports traumatology, aimed at young orthopedists and based on the exchange of knowledge and experience from leading Bulgarian surgeons in the field.

LYON SCHOOL OF KNEE SURGERY Traveling fellowship 2025
The renewal of the scientific and friendly relationship between the Bulgarian Arthroscopic Society and the world-renowned and recognized Lyon School of Knee Surgery is one of the projects of the BAAST.

ENDO CLINIC SCHOLARSHIP
Training program to be conducted under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Torsten Gerke, leading orthopedic specialist and medical director of Helios Endo Clinic Hamburg, with a narrow specialization in primary endoprosthetics, aseptic and septic revision endoprosthetics of the hip and knee joints.
